The Greatest Con

I saw God;   He was standing on the corner,   Waving a gun in some kid's face.          I've seen God,        Swaggering around, Using fear to keep you in your place.        I saw through God; Suddenly He had nothing left to say.      He handed me some cash,  Asked if I could see it His way.         Yeah, I saw God,        Sitting on the bus.      Everyone was being good,     But he was laughing at us.
