The Master Repairman

I woke up to face the day with a firm plan in front of me,     But soon began to realize, it wasn't meant to be!     For a sound came from the kitchen, something like "kerplink",     "Oh dear, I thought.     There must be something stuck way down in my sink."     I stumbled  then to answer the loudly ringing phone,     To hear a familiar voice say,     "Mom, I forgot my homework."     Oh my, I should have known!     So, I stopped for a fleeting moment to rest in my favorite chair,     Only to remember, the air-conditioner needs repair.     Just to get away, I hopped into the car for a short spin,     But much to my dismay, the engine was making those clunking sounds again!     Feeling quite discouraged I laid down on the couch so I could doze. . .     When I noticed something strange stuck in my pre-school daughter's nose.     "What else could go wrong?"I sighed.     Could there possibly be more?     Oh yes, need I mention the old broken front screen door?"     So, that night I spoke with my Heavenly Father      most fervently in prayer. . .     And gave Him all my "broken things" and left them      in His care.     Then, the  next day I determined right from the very start,     To call upon the MASTER REPAIRMAN, the mender of my heart!
