Broken Just The Same

how are you, as broken as i am today. proudly holding onto nothing, mind confused by dissaray. searching madly just to be, a figment of something a little more passionate. reaching for the moment, never sure when the moment might just get up and leave. and leave you lying in the corner, of the shadow of the world. praying for salvation, the love from a girl. allowing all the misconceptions, to filter through my mind. starving for an answer. hoping, wishing you were mine. hoping that you're fine, or broken, as i am today.

Additional Notes:
there is no capitalization in this poem because it is sad and i believe this keeps the poem on a low level.my intention in this poem was not for the up and up.
