Appropriatic Irony

And you laugh, as though laughing were appropriate at a moment like this. Odd time for irony, when Death is at the door. For a fragment of the sentiment that formerly was yours. A distant but appreciated quest for what's in store. A panoramic full eclipse, a dawn that left us blind. This sensitivity is wholly wrong, and far too hard to find. Your cry that left your soul devoid of any memories, is still the sigh that you avoid for fear of being free. And now looking through your mirror, your reflective hourglass. How ironic does it feel, to see me have the one last laugh.
