Fire Escape

Sometimes I cry just to see the tears, roll down my face in the mirror. Sometimes I scream just to hear my voice, echo through the woods at night. Sometimes I run just to feel the wind, flow through my hair and stuff. Sometimes I jump just to see myself, come closer to the ground then hit. Sometimes I cut myself to see, the blood that keeps me on my feet. Sometimes I trip just to see the world, the way I wish it was. Sometimes I wonder just to pass the time, and see what could have been. Sometimes I stare at things gone bad, in hopes that they'll get better, but no Sometimes I think to figure out, what has happened to this world. Sometimes I work to take my mind off, problems that I have. Sometimes I drink to make a blur, of society's mistakes. Sometimes I sleep just to prepare, myself for the travels up ahead. Sometimes I talk to myself, when there is noone else to listen. Sometimes I smoke to be high, and be higher than my problems. Sometimes I walk and often times, I walk the other way. Sometimes I dream and then I wake, and do it all again.
