Spring

I smell the damp earth of spring, and imagine all those tiny new lungs breathing it in for the first time- The pink skin and wee wails of brand new life. I look out of windows that, with the seasons magic, seem like the most beautiful stained glass, altering my vision of the outdoors until rainbows crawl across  my retinas, emanating from everywhere. I am irresistibly drawn outside, to nosh on  delightfully scented breezes, the dizzying chorus of drips, and the sound of mud sucking at my shoes.
