For The Love Of Hate

O.k. I'm here again, ready to take on a little more guilt. I'm focused now to face you once more, my judge and executioner. How dare you say those words to me, as though they're heaven sent. We're a little more mature than that, we've walked that road before. Kicking up the asphalt, and leaving memories on the highway. Dividing what we say and what we mean, as though it really even matters. Knowingly we dove into this pit of hate, backstroking the differences of mediocrity. Hoping for a chance to break the silence, and put an end to this annihilation. Focused once again to face the walkaway, perhaps this time I'll find the strength. To give an honest evaluation of who you are, without the candy-coated misconceptions, that life has thrown in our laps. And maybe in time I'll be ready, to play the fool again. As repetitious as it seems, I love to feel the hate.
