Misdemeanor

Catastrophically, I welcomed your demeanor. The chance to feel the love, I threw away when I was young. Indeed you emphasize my sorrow. You put an explanation mark, on this life that I have led. Forbidding and fruitless my intentions back then. Still we understood the meaning of the masses. Providing a fresh new look, on the destruction of the whole. The piece of me that brought me to my knees. Engaging you as the silent partner, disconnecting the line of communication. Rendering the possibility, that the nightmare might be over. Jestering an opposition to move, the love a little closer. Capitalizing on the petty passion, we perceived while pretending to be poets. Distant enough to feel the shame, shamed enough to ask for more. Shadowed by the sins of sexuality, the brave new man makes his mark.
