Away in a manger lays a little baby boy His name is Emmanuel, God is with us He came to us all, to proclaim a choice To live among gladness and joy He asks from us only one request To live out life in peace He is well known throughout the world For he brings warmth where there is cold He brings cheer where there is sadness He brings hope where there is despair He brings gladness where there is sorrow He can be found in many locations Tonight his light will shine as the star of Bethlehem You can find him close by your side You see he lives within you and me You will recognize him as Jesus Christ AS you open your heart, he resides there. To change our will of greed To a joy full of peace Won't you open that door And step inside the world of faith and comfort Or do you choose to live  On the checks and balances with George Washington You see my friend, I chose a long time ago To live in harmony I was willing to give up those worldly ways. To live in peace I chose Jesus Christ to be in my heart. To leave behind a world of disappointment filled of misery.
