A Wishing Star To wish upon a star I give my strength to thee Forever and a day, shall we be. A star given night of light to beam down upon us And cast out the shadow of doubt Of a future for you and me. The day breaks, filling us both with the loneliness of hope the sun rises, as we stroll home to our destiny. I wish upon a single star To give me the strength For your arms to be forever around me.
