Honestly Insane Without The Love

Bludgeoned, my soul the day you left me standing there. Shattered and hopeful that it was just a dream. Screaming for perfection in this melting pot of sin. Eagerly I hoped to gain that love again. Passion forgot to hold my hand the day you said goodbye to me. I longed for the release from this strangle hold on pride. Depriving my sanity from knowing anything of love, carelessly I parted ways with life. The pressure had built up within my heart, now fury was bursting from the seams of my nirvana. Whole heartedly I tried to stand my ground, always slipping on the banana peels of lust. Reaching for indiscretion to lend a hand and save me from the ominous oblivion. You're the entity of irony knocking on my door, asking my beliefs just to tear apart my comfort. To question you would be to test my will, to see if I can handle losing you. Walking down this path of pleasured pain, hoping not to trip on the tree stump of temptation. Yearning for the way to tell you how I feel, and not be chastised for my honesty.
