A Thousand Dragonflies

I find a little happiness in the sorrow that I feel, it keeps me on my feet and shows the world so real. So I scatter the ashes of a life I once led, and I bandage the wound from which love once bled. Then suddenly in front of me the phantom of my past, I know I'm not the first you hurt and no I'm not the last. You're the viscious instigator, you're the violent sweet crusader. You're the world inside my eyes, a thousand dragonflies. I always feel sorrow in the happiness that I find, The love's too bright for it renders me blind. Enough to feel the same as the last time this went down, when suddenly you had to be the ghost inside my town. So I'm searching for a peacefulness to rest my head upon, reaching for the explanation of why you've up and gone. Because you're the viscious instigator, you're the violent sweet crusader. You're the world inside my eyes, a thousand dragonflies.
