Battered Soul

I stepped upon the shoreline, bitter cold tribute to nothing. Emptiness, bodies without souls, hearts without goals. Loneliness, Betrayal. All for what? Endless pain, suffrage, strain. Minds confused by simple things, the door bell rings. Who is there? Emptiness, Betrayal, Loneliness, unwanted house guests.
