Richard's Five and Dime

        Sometimes it takes all of the strength I have        to turn my head and ignore,        the absurd display of human jest         playing out on the showroom floor.   And what if I find myself complacent    in my minding of the store,         because I'm too tired of laughing at what isn't funny anymore.
