Martin Luther King

I have been up to the mountain and I've seen the other side, I know that we can make it if we drop our foolish pride. We must learn to live together, as we know we have the tools, for if we can't live together brothers then we shall die together fools. If we can't rid ourselves of hatred which paralyzes life, then we'll never know the true love that overcomes all strife. And the hopes of childhood promises that we held in great esteem, shall fall by the way in a long forgotten dream. The man who used these wise words was the very man who said judge not a man by color, but by his character instead. We also knew this man, by the peace he tried to bring, we knew him ever lovingly, as Martin Luther King.

Additional Notes:
Martin was my hero in the sixties, I still believe in all he tried to do.
