The Preacher: The Legacy of Rev. Alex Boda

He walks up the road With a smile on his face Reading his Bible out loud, Going to no particular place. His heart and prayers go out To those in deepest need, Like orphans in Africa Wanting a bowl of food to eat. Hungarians in Romania Oppressed by Godless laws- His vision carried them through To spiritual liberty for all. His belief in freedom Was as real as his smile. His love for God Helped many through serious trials. His notes for his sermons Were hastily written words; Yet the notes his grandson found Were not what the congregation heard. Many heard his words  Some would travel miles To hear this preahcer And see his smile.
