Cryptic Heart

I stood atop my gravestone and saw All my misconceptions and my flaws What precious price life could bring My pain unchecked was still lingering I counted the skeletons in my bed And fastened a rose for all my loves long dead The air held the scent of rotting flesh Corpses strung about in a chaotic mess I kicked my way through the putrid death With the screams of souls on my breath The balance of power shifted for me I killed everything I could see Now I dance in a world so bleak And will never grasp that which I seek my love is a graveyard so vast I can’t help but dwell in the past But you sneak in all the time and bring the hurt I see your face so clearly while I shovel the dirt Why can’t you stay dead? I can’t get you out of my head I gaze at the distant moon so timeless As I wait for your sweet lips I befriended these hideous creatures of stone They listen to me when I’m alone I feel your presence lurking beneath my shadow If  I could catch you I wouldn’t let you go My happiness, I chastise If only I could lose myself in your eyes I’d do anything to hold you close I swear to you my sacred oath I give you any purity left within my soul For you I release my hate that I hold Offer me your love you keep inside Offer me your heart that you hide I’ll keep your beauty eternal Our love an infinite inferno You’re the object of my affection I can’t stand your rejection Curled up upon the death I bleed for you Pulling my chains that hold me from you Weathering the storms in your cave You take your love to the grave

Additional Notes:
I use a graveyard as a metaphor for my heart and mind. no grammer? yeah well it just didnt work, besides I'll bet you can understand it anyway ...and in case you're wondering this is about my ex-fiancee among other failures, that I couldnt seem to get out of my head, but dont worry I'm fine now :)
