Searching the Horizon

Growing up you could'nt imagine falling in love seven times or was it ten? The thought circles your brain, what I know now I wish I knew then. As the treasure of a good memory lets you return to each special person in your youth. Of one love you remember the color of their eyes,of another sharing a rootbeer float in that special  booth. It may not seem so...but those relationships were good for your heart. Stronger after each one, ready for a new love and a new start. It seemed so easy to fall in love, but so hard to let go! Hanging on to tight smothers love and won't allow it to grow. Years go by, companions come and go,and your seeing things in a different light. Searching the horizon for compassion in a shared love by day and by night.
