Musical Conversation

The instruments upon the stage filled with anticipation knowing it was time to play and start their conversation. The strings were ready at stage left the horns were at stage right the drums stood far behind them both that very special night. All at once the strings began to speak in quiet tones prompting answers from the flutes and mellow saxophones. Then the deep, resounding notes of drums began to play joining with the strings and horns who had a lot to say. The conversation carried on until the night was done creating words that danced on air enjoyed by everyone.
