OF BUTTERFLIES AND HUMANS

I love to watch the butterflies flutter by, They remind me of new life, Alluring heliotrope and amber wings signify Metamorphosis from the strife. I love to watch the children grow, Like butterflies, they change throughout the seasons From gangling teens to full grown adults Who act like human beings. I love to observe butterflies emerging from cocoons, Beautiful in their transformation, Just as children who open their hearts to God Become responsible and caring generations. I love to see butterflies pollinate the flowers After the marvel of transfiguration occurs, A symbol of God's people lauding His powers An continually spreading His word.

Additional Notes:
I realize not everyone is of the same feeling, but butterflies cause one to wonder, don't you think?
