Bear Facts

Last night, bears roamed these wooded hills   and tore at rotted stumps.   They buried noses deep inside,   displaying hairy rumps.   The moonlight frosted furry shapes   and flooded clearings, where,   they congregate to eat the roots   that they find buried there.   They growled and sniffed the evening air   to see what they might find,   then padded off on leather feet   and left their tracks behind.
