Standing in The bright of the night I spend my time Alone To wait Giving it one more chance I sleepwalk through your ice-cold water Attracted to its wave Wanting to be washed from darkness Away from a fairytale fate But they are unforgiving waters I crash unto my knees My eyes sting  To watch bubbles of life Float up and out of reach My hopes and desires Continuing to slip Of all that I wanted to be
