I CALL IT SPIRIT

I call it spirit This trait that I seek And I need to be near it Without it I'm bleak It's an aura, a feeling A piece of the light It's exciting, revealing A fancy from flight It expands your reality Your fantasies flow Still you keep your morality Dreams heal, you grow It's a reason for living The limit's the sky It's a reason for giving To companions who try Don't you see, there's no limit It can be, if you dare Trust in me, there's no gimmick It's all yours, just out there  I'm not being show biz I practice just as I preach If I believe so, it is I see all within reach So, of course I think that those who try Are fun, and very bright So, of course I dream that I can fly And raise them to the light I call it spirit This trait that I seek And I need to be near it Without it I'm bleak
