Compromise

A brighter future is what’s on the table, A compromise! to make things stable. The time of being so set in ones ways, Belongs with history's yesterdays. The violence, the killings, the rivers of tears, Can come to an end after so many years. Who wants to live in a military state? Where gangsters and hoodlums and soldiers dictate. Only great tolerance and not revolution, Can slowly but surely, become the solution. If not for yourselves, then the next generation, Allow them to live, in a happier nation. For the shaking of hands is like planting a seed, A chance of a future and a hope to succeed. For to miss it and dwell on a tragical past, The return of "The Troubles" would surely come fast. The difference in cultures is not really so great, Certainly not worth, being consumed with such hate. A brighter future can be there for you all, Its time to wake up and pull down the wall!
