Destiny

Her sweet breath blankets the room, As I watch her sleep away the night. Her silky curls caress her pillow, As she holds her teddy bear tight. Her eyes flutter like butterflies, When she remembers to suck her thumb The beauty of her pure innocence Makes any hardship I have go numb. I glance once more at her angelic face, So that I can sleep peacefully, For she brings light into my dreams, After all, she is my Destiny!

Additional Notes:
Destiny of course is capitalized because she is my daughter! :o)
