Providence

I close my eyes and imagine there could be a love so kind as to grant me Providence, surcease from a tortured mind. Could your love release me, restore me to a former life? Will you take away my need by making me your wife? You found me drifting aimlessly, I wrecked my ship upon your shore. We're bound together in matrimony, a happiness I'd not known before. I love you more than I thought capable, we share our lives entwined as one. Fulfilling destiny ordained in the bible, we live as many others have done. The future is laid out before us, we anticipate our growing old. Prepared to face what we must, our lives are beginning to unfold.
