Majestic Bird of 1782

Soaring high as their screeching call is heard,      the bald eagle chosen as our favorite bird. Found in many areas of the U.S.A.      still our national bird to this day. Catching the wind and gliding high,      over wilderness in the great blue sky. Establishing domains is their fate,      always migrating to join their mate. Many awesome with a wingspan of severn feet,      forever searching for something to eat. A picture of magnificence as it soars the air,      patrolling its territory with great care. Their portrait found on several symbols of our land,      looking heroic and ready to take a stand. The American Bald Eagle will alwys be,      a token of U.S.A. the land of the free.
