Epiphany

My life no longer has meaning Now that nothing's new And life no longer has meaning An existential truth I never felt this way before Because of stupid optimism And never thought there'd come a day I'd sink into this pessimism Why do I work so hard at this Just to make another rich? Why do I work so hard at this? Why am I working so hard at this?! My life no longer has meaning Now that I'm alone And life no longer has meaning Just a dying, muffled tone Stumble, fall, begin again I thought that time would never end And love would wait beyond the rough Once I gained my precious stuff Why do I work so hard at this? I've only made another rich! Why do I work so hard at this?! Why am I working so hard at this?!! Now I feel Love Now I want Love Now I need Love Now I need Love To give my life true meaning
