PERSONAL CHRONICLES

Everyone has a story to tell Of past remembrances, some so swell, And others they'd like to forget But etched in memory and sometimes regret. Everyone has a story to tell, So write it down for others to dwell, Future generations learn from the past, They'll see from whence you came at last. Tell your story, long or short, Each chronicle provokes distinctive retorts; Some may not want to listen today, When they mature, they'll hear what you say. Stories of hardship, this great country of ours, Stories of splendor, beauty that flowers, Cultures and traditions of each family, Diversity promoting peace, love, and unity. Yes, everyone has a story to tell, Civilization has prospered and flourished as well, The past is the present once removed, Each segment well-informed and improved.
