Showering Love

As I walked, teardrops fell from up above, The angels in heaven crying in pain. Oh, how terrible to live without love! Expressing their sentiments through rain. Life seems quite useless without love around. No one to hug you and say that they care. Crying and sadness for them is abound. But these are emotions that we all share. So smile, because you are not alone. Angels in heaven show their love to you. Perhaps, just like you, their lives had once shone. Now at rest, downpours show their care is true. So let the cool drops fall across your face, Knowing you are not alone in this place.

Additional Notes:
This is my attempt at a sonnet. How'd I do?
