Hush of Beauty

Hush, as the snowflake falls.     So weightless she floats, soft to the ground.    Like painted scenery, she accents the earth,   while lying quietly in peace, without a sound.   Hush, as the snowflake rests.     So undisturbed, a purity of white.    Her innocence shows a glitter of beauty,   by the sun of day and the moon of night.     Hush, as the snowflake fades.     Once undisturbed and a purity of white.    Her wondrous petals, now turn to tears,   as nature's thirst calls, for warm sunlight.        So hush, as the snowflake is gone.     Still are the memories, that lie in thought.    She catered each moment, if only at times,   with a picture of peace, that chills had brought.
