The Night As night falls, the twilight sighs, I sit beneath the darkening skies. I look and wonder at the sight, Why did God create the night? While I am writing another line, a star comes out and begins to shine. It speaks to me, it says: "Ahem, some people say I look like a gem." As I sit there and ponder this flickering light, it comes to me, "That's why God created the night." |
