Choices

To take a leap, a leap of faith, into the vast unknown. A place that’s full of passion. A place that’s full of life, A place that’s full of danger, of this one thing I’m sure. There are things to learn in this unknown, great area for growth, New things to see and to explore mostly within oneself. Should fear outweigh the experience of feeling something new? So here we have the question, so what is one to do? To take the path less traveled or stay on the straight path? The choice is there one must decide what they would choose to do. One road offers freedom, freedom to explore, But with this comes the chance for pain that lasts forever more. One road offers comfort, comfort in the known, But in exchange we must give up the thrill in the unknown. One road offers passion, passion pure and free, But passion often leads to pain so you must tread carefully. One road offers security, a safe place for your head, But you must give up the passion and sometimes you feel you’re dead. Oh so many choices in a life that we all share. When we’re to meet upon the road the choice it must be made, To live our life in fear of it or take a step right in.
