New Year

Thunder skies In my eyes Lightning sparks my heart. A rain of tears Brings my new year And love's storm clouds so dark. The Old Man dies And the New Born cries My new year's just begun. Auld lang syne Has brought more time And last year's deeds are done. I start anew And I do choose Your heart for me to own. You'll share my year And allay my fear Of last year's love who's gone. And when it ends We'll know we've been Happy but just one year. And as we part  From each other's heart It will rain once more with tears.
