LOST AT SEA

My feelings are so out of reach, Endless, yet obcure. Like waves upon an empty beach, Unseen and so unsure. I dare not let them surface now For fear they'd overwhelm; A ship upon a stormy sea, With noone at the helm. The Captain has abandoned me- Emotions set adrift; I search, and yet I cannot see Just when the fog will lift. I hope that soon the Captain sees- The ship, it could go down; For now, I'll wait for calming seas, And pray I do not drown.

Additional Notes:
The word "Captain" is capitalized intentionally to denote the "Higher Power" we look to for guidance.
