#67 Attraction Reaction

Distance and assurance of unattainability increase desire. They fuel the fire; they damp the fire. Bellows to build. Blanket to smother. When is which and why? Repeated over and over: Lisa, Molly, Chris.  Lovers in soul though never in body. Chemistry----magnetism----Mary Chapin's fate. Savor----Enjoy----Stroke. Touch hearts & souls not bodies. Pull back just in time. Hearts and  souls confused.....                    Bodies laugh.                    Bodies cry.                    Bodies yearn.                    Bodies relieved. Distance and doubt condoms for desire. Protection for that vulnerable moment before responsibility rides in like The Lone Ranger, and the bandits of desire flee into the  underbrush of the mind. There to be captured, tortured, and killed by Deputy Distance and Officer Doubt. Life is saved, but for no fit purpose. But, rarely, a hearty, bandit survivor returns while the posse is on patrol. Then heart and  soul and body unite. Desire ambushes distance  and doubt, and all die in one glorious group homicide. and then... and then... The story has no single ending. The story has no simple ending.
