Destiny If only I had known my destiny! I have no one to blame or hate. I was the maker of my fate. Now after all this time, I discovered that I've beeen the poet of my rhymes. The choices that I could have made. The choices I should have made, are now haunting the choices that I made. My destiny was always in my hands, but the lack of foresight left me wandering in a never…never land. Dreams, wishes, hopes and expectations of tomorrow that will never come. It has been said that I march to a different drum. My Yesterdays are fading from view. My tomorrow’s are few. My destiny slipped by, while I was reaching for that pie in the sky. The choices we sow are the bread we reap. No matter how hard we wish or weep, destiny is ours forever to keep. |
