The Remote

I've got the remote that control's the world I found it in my pocket yesterday I just bought these pants for two dollars I'll never shop at that thrift store again It came with a postcard and a little letter it said,"God's a little girl that lost his way" it said,"Whosoever believeth in the remote shall never worry about death again" The pretty postcard had a pretty postcard of Jesus Christ with Pepsi Can "Wish you were here. . .  prices are cheap" "We're cooler than Hollywood or Disneyland" Why me? I thought.  Why do I have this remote? I can now silence the world and stop it from spinning Well, isn't technology getting great? With Christ on the cross and grinning So I decided I wanted to try this marvelous new toy of mine push a button, shoot up a school it's a remote, not a crime Push, push, push a button Push, push, push some more I will never ever get enough of this hatred, death, disease, and war
