"The Devil's Advocate"

Either you're for God, or you're the Devil's Advocate. Those who try to work for both deserve what they will get! You are foolish if you think you're balanced on the fence. You'll be paid by whom you serve.  There will be recompense. You know there is always opposition in ALL things. When a Truth is given, error swiftly, loudly, sings. But our "vacillation" makes God's Spirit hard to hear And we'll waiver in the Truth.  Our vision won't be clear. Most of us can recognize a wrong - when shown with force - But if "gently" led astray we will pursue that course Until it's too late to change.  When we're bound with a cord Too strong to break all by ourselves, we must call on the Lord! We cannot afford to rest upon the fence.  We'll lose Simply by not acting.  God requires us to choose Whether we will live by Principles of Truth and Light, Or go into darkness, growing ignorant of what's right. Once we have been given Truth, to doubt will prove a snare, Which will engulf the nonchalant and foolish unaware. Soon the line, now drawn between the righteous and God's foes, Will become a chasm, as well everybody knows. Do you have conviction?  Is your faith in Christ the Lord? Fast and pray to know the truth.  Mistakes you can't afford. Ask yourself these questions.  On eternal life don't bet. Either you're for God, or you're the Devil's Advocate!
