Ice Monster

Ice Monster, ruler of a kingdom with no emotion, I have desperately tried to get you to  acknowledge me  and have failed. No longer will I waste the words  on my tongue to try to  entice or seduce you. I have learned you are not worthy  of my efforts or affection. Your breath no longer warms my heart, but rushes through me  like a cold winter wind. So, you will not be surprised then  as you take my hand in yours, one last time... that I shall melt like an ice cube  at your feet and quickly dry in the sun.
