Everybody Does It

Put a ring through your lip, put one on your toes, put three in your ears connect one to your nose, everybody does it. Hair tinted or sprayed, all disarrayed, looking like a clown in some parade, everybody does it. Now throw in a few four letter words' just like the friends that you have heard, everybody does it. You want to be different you want to be free, when in fact all you are is a wanna be. No matter how you try to arrange it, the world won't change, and you can't change it, even if you say hey wuz it, just because everybody else does it.

Additional Notes:
I wrote this because my fifteen year old grand son, likes to mimmic his friends. This is the way I expressed my feelings to him.
