Release Me

Release my heart from your silent imprisonment, And give me an acquittal based on repression. This pain that cries out a plea of insanity, Falls into your hollow of morbid suppression. Release my emotions from your constrictive walls, For I cannot feel beyond a reasonable doubt. My tears are shackled and chained to your bars, I plead for your mercy to bail them out. Release my soul from your solitary confinement, For I have served well in your jurisdiction. Grant me the justice to find my inner peace, And relinquish me from your harsh conviction.
