Roses For My Valentine

Deep is the color                          The red of the rose.                            Deep is my love                             Each day as it                                  Grows.                        As the rose is to fade                       As it’s life slips away.                      The life that I’d made                          Had caused me to                                   Fade.                        Then enter you did                  With your sweet serenade,          A song so sweet as I heard it played.                                        Your love for me was then                                Portrayed.                At first you see, I was afraid.           And now this love I would not trade.                             Love or fear, it’s this I weighed,                     I felt your love and I was                                  Swayed.                                                                                                                 This             love                           That’s         sweet,                             This love divine                               Love to you                                     My                                Valentine
