The Flame

Flame of life, flickers inside Rapid oxidation, Evaporate the gray droplets of winter’s rain.   Molten memories Ooze from cerebral places, Incinerating familiar faces of those, I thought  I once knew.   Displaced guilt- A smoke screen of billowing lies,  Choke the throats of the disillusioned. Fire light lead the way, Illuminate this path and restore vision to battered eyes, tightly shut in a fray of circumstance, Long ago.
