Imagination's Web

Have you ever been walking all by yourself on a cold & dismal night imagining some monster about to appear as it stalks you in your flight. You endeavour to whistle a merry tune "it bolster's one's courage" your told Yet it comes ever near...& with re-newed fear you perspire despite the cold. Clouds overhead place a mask o'er the moon as if to obscure from your sight the carnage below that you're sure will occur from the things that "go bump in the night" Soon the moon re-appears in the sombre sky as your fears begin to ebb but the heart of the weak is caught in the trap of imagination's web.
