Pattern on the Wall

Wallflower, you know who you are with frilly dress and curly hair, and shoes one size too big. As you watch the others dance you wonder when someone will give you a chance. Your mind twirls and spins to no end. No drink can dampen your dry mouth. No towel dry enough to dry your  sweaty palms. No calm, to calm your nervous twitch. So there you stand and wither the perfect pattern for the wall.
