Friends not I Friends Who needs them They take advantage and then condenm They win your trust make you care and when you need them they aren't there Once I had a heart so full of sharing and caring But friends led my heart to despairing I trusted all in words I thought real then all that I had did they steal I don't care about money if my bills are payed But I was crushed soundly in another way I had many foundlings I brought from abuse My birds were worth money So my friends made good use I went into a hospital to stay many days My friends did not visit not one word my way When at last I went home, my worst fears were met. My wolves they were starving, but I'd seen nothing yet. My home was in shambles,Twas plain to see, just what my friends had taken from me. My blind cat was hungry and water she craved. In that moment I sought my grave. My birds were gone, life just didn't matter. My friends I'm sure ,had purses much fatter. I took to the mountains, I ran away. And now only the beasts of this world can my heart sway. Friends who wants them not I not ever |
