MacKenzee Maree

The other day I had the chance to go see  my newborn neice named MacKenzee Maree.  She's such a beauty, like her mother dear. Her skin felt so soft as I held her near, A flood of memories came rushing to me, And when I closed my eyes I could see her mother, a child so sweet and demure. Yet underneath it all, she had no fear. I thought to myself what a glorious day! I will hold this memory, and it'll stay forever with me; wish it never to fade. Because thats what life is: one big parade of memories that we all hold to hearts, To the very end and from the very start. And so my niece I thank you for the touch. You're so young, yet you've given so much.
