Drifters

We've been drifting through this sea of endless agony and deceitful roads; You and I. Endlessly searching for pieces of sanity from which we can find a sollution to this suffering. To a world where happiness and contentment are abundant, where the grass is green and blue is the sky. We are wanderers, lost nomads of this barren desert. We drift, across an ocean of despair into a bay of calm breezes and white sands. We are pilgrims; You and I, our sextants are the stars and the waves are our roads, exploring the valleys of sea in our confusing lives. We are desperate; You and I, eager to savor what we haven't yet accomplished, though those dreams are already lost. Somewhere drifting in this sea of endless agony and deceitful roads, in this barren desert of wilted hopes. Drifting, like you and I.
