You Are My Ocean

Oh, how I need a tender trip to the sea My every thought both night and day to be At the shore of all emotion, life's grief   The pain of not being there, no relief I try not to dwell on the ever long wait Never wanting to test or tempt our fate But the faded memories of times gone by Pass through my mind as clouds in the sky The ocean, my ocean, with every crashing wave To all the small water, a gift for all it gave Given and received with all the depth there is To carry in her loving soul along with his Whispering goodbye to the lasting tide Walking alone, with no one beside Is never really true by any notion Just come to the sea, you are my ocean!
